My Triumph Tiger 1050 had two leaking fork oil seals after 16k miles. I renewed the fork oil seals and bushings. See:

The service manual says the oil volume is suppose to be 581 cc, level 30 mm from the top of the outside tube with the spring in (I assume the spacer should be taken out) and the inner leg all the way compressed. When I took mine apart the level is around 70 mm down and I dumped out about 550 cc of oil.

Worst Years: 2006 Tiger 1050. The worst year Triumph Tiger has to be 2006 1050, due to sticking problems with the master cylinder’s pistons. The pistons had a problem sliding passed their seals because the master cylinder diameter wasn’t big enough. ’06 Tiger 1050 riders occasionally dealt with their piston retracting too far from the rotor.
