Most automakers have integrated CarPlay on select models or plan to include it in the future. Other companies offer the service throughout their lineup. The phone may not show a WiFi connection but it is in use. If you want to use your car’s WiFi then you’ll need to use a cable for CarPlay. That’s just how it works. November 14, 2022.
